Expert Testimony

Cases involving wrongful convictions stemming from coerced or false confessions, sufficiency of the investigative interview, establishing consent (or lack thereof), understanding power dynamics in sexual assault investigations, memory, cognitive biases, dynamics of intimate partner violence, and determining investigative sufficiency of a case.

Investigation Case Consulting

Case consultation with law enforcement personnel and attorneys to generate investigative leads that either prove or disprove an allegation. I provide comprehensive case reviews to determine sufficiency and /best practices.

Teaching/Training

As a military leader and 23-year (and counting) federal agent, teaching and training are a true passion of mine. Topics include investigative interviewing, victimology, grooming, cognitive biases, memory, power dynamics associated with sexual assault, the psychology of victims of sexual assault, the psychology of suspects of sexual assault, characteristics of serial sex offenders, and considerations in allegations of child abuse.
